Formerly known as Nailart Bootcamp, Wildflowers Portfolio Builder class is designed for a nail artist of any level to learn fundamental and emerging nail art techniques. We at Wildflowers like to consider it our “sampler” class, where you get to learn and create 10 different styles of nail art in one class.
We touch on details, elevated art, trend art, fluid art, dimension art, and even gel stamping in this class to give you a basic introduction to these techniques. This class will help you learn about yourself as an artist, and will help you identify art styles where you excel, and others that will challenge you.
Regardless of your skill level, you will leave inspired, and with a beautiful portfolio of you work from class! Class includes a Wildflowers Nail Portfolio.
Wildflowers believes in a hands-on education experience, so you can expect to leave with a little sparkle on your cheeks, and a beautiful portfolio of your work that you can show-off to your clients.
This fun-paced totally hands-on class appeals to nail artists of all levels, from the recent graduate all the way to the 25 year veteran who may feel a little “out of the loop” when it comes to nail art.
Wildflowers Portfolio Builder is designed for Nail Professionals, so a valid cosmetology or nail technician license is required for this class.

- Wildflowers Silver Brush (Or Copper Vegan)
- Wildflowers Magenta Brush
- Wildflowers Indigo Brush
- Wildflowers Light Pink Angled One-Stroke Brush
- UV or LED nail lamp
- Isopropyl Alcohol
- Acetone
- Scissors and Tweezers
- An electrical power strip (you will be provided with one outlet as close as possible to you)
- Table Towel (optional - we will have paper towels)
- Table Lamp
We recommend utilizing the Wildflowers tools listed above. If you choose to use other tools or brushes, we can not guarantee the outcome of each nail design. If you do not have any of the tools, we'd be happy to guide you in making a purchase from our website or one of our distributors. If you do not have time to order prior to class (because of shipping time) please contact us about pre-purchasing items. We can have them ready for you when you check into class.
What to Expect at Travel Classes:
Travel classes are typically round-table style with a whole lot of Wildflowers Products in the middle of the table. Shopping may or may not be available in the classroom (depending on the event, available staff, and location). Please be sure to secure any supplies you may need for class before arrival.
It's important that you bring a power-strip. Our round tables typically have a round receptacle under them that will give ONE plug-in to each person in class. If you have three things to plug in, you'll need that power strip.
Many times the Wildflowers staff sets up the classroom before class (if class begins at 8AM, they are there at 7AM setting up the classroom). We typically open doors 15 minutes before class begins. It helps our set-up process to go much smoother if there are no extra bags or people in the room until we officially open our doors. Please wait for us to open the doors to come in.
Your set-up and break-down time is built into class time. If you'd like to sit with your friend, be sure to arrive early. At some events we will have a TV, and sometimes a projector. We try to arrange the classroom so that everyone can see. Be sure to bring a sweater or fan depending on your personal needs. We try to set the temperature at a comfortable temperature, but we can not guarantee to please everyone.
